Love Calculator is a free, mobile-first rebuild of the classic name-match game that has been part of internet culture since the nineties. It exists because the originals had one fixable flaw: their results were not reproducible. Here, the same two names always produce the same score, the same tier, and the same story — on any device, in any year.

What this site believes

Three principles shape every page. Honesty about the math: the score is a deterministic function of spelling, described openly on the how it works page — no mystery, no destiny claims. Honesty about the science: a name percentage says nothing about a real relationship, and the compatibility guide explains what relationship research actually found instead. Honesty about the fun: the game is the point, and the copy keeps it light on every score band.

How it runs

Every calculation happens in your browser. The names you type are never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never leave your device — the recent-tests list lives in your own browser storage and can be deleted at any time. There is no account, no paywall and no limit: open the site, type two names, get your answer.
